This year Baseball aficionados will be able to enjoy a True World Series showcasing the best baseball players the planet has to offer. For the first time ever, the best baseball players will be representing their corresponding countries in a recognized competitive event that will determine which country is King. Although Baseball is deemed as Americas favorite pastime, you can rest assured that other countries will come ready to play and to be recognized as a worthy opponent.

If Basketball is any indication of how Americas dominance has been dwindling over recent international competitions, then it seems that the stage will be set for some very exciting and competitive encounters. This could be the start of a reoccurring World competition such as the Soccer World Cup, which is one of the most prestigious team competitions that are followed by millions of fans worldwide.

This event will be held in various venues and countries in March. Specifically, competition is set to start on March 3rd and continue through March 18th. Thus, fans will be delighted with basically 2 weeks of high level, high intensity competition. Over 15 countries are set to participate in this World competition as follows:

Puerto Rico, Australia, Canada, Dominican Republic, China, Korea, Cuba, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Panama, South Africa, Taipei, United States and Venezuela, among others.

The tournament will initially be played in 3 countries but divided into four sections as follows:

- Section A=>Tokyo
- Section B=>Several Cities in the US
- Section C=>Puerto Rico
- Section D=>Florida

This format will enable fans worldwide to enjoy Major League style baseball in various countries and possibly support their home team and see their local players in action. The second round of the tournament will then be played in Puerto Rico and the US. The final round will be played exclusively in the US. The idea is promote Baseball worldwide in order to create visibility and increase Fan-base in other countries.

Numerous Major League players have already signed-up to participate and represent their corresponding countries, in an Olympic Type of atmosphere. This will be an event to remember and hopefully the first of many more to come in subsequent years. See you all there. PLAY BALL!!!!!
